Sing a New Song: Why We Need New Songs and How to Start Writing Them

Matt Hellyer is a songwriter, musician, and producer, serving in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2008 and leading ministry through Novi Most in Jajce.

During the workshop, participants explored the biblical call to write new songs and discovered different types of songs worth creating. They received practical tools for songwriting and recording, along with resources to continue writing after the festival.

Lazar Strugar is a drama artist and actor, and Vesna Strugar is a literature professor and long-time mentor in spoken performance and expression.

During the workshop, participants explored drama as a path of self-awareness, honesty, and transformation. Through practical exercises inspired by Stanislavski’s method, they worked with presence, silence, fear, and authentic expression.
