Born in Ljubljana to agnostic parents who valued hard work and family, he earned an MA in sports science and became a P.E. teacher. Sharing his faith cost him his job, which led him to Josiah Venture, where he has served as a youth worker in Slovenia for 13 years.

He loves the outdoors, people, and serving others. His heart beats for the youth of former Yugoslavia, and he longs for healing, unity, and forgiveness across the region.
